Hello, I’m Elsa Sevilla, founder of Sevilla Productions, LLC, and co-creator of Historic Places with Elsa Sevilla. As an award-winning and Emmy-nominated journalist and filmmaker, I’ve built a fulfilling career in broadcast news, documentary filmmaking, public relations, and content creation. I am honored to be a storyteller, where I provide effective public relations services, and I am committed to uplifting all communities through media.
My career began at KGTV-10, where I honed my skills in broadcast news, storytelling, public relations, and content creation. Over the years, I’ve served as a NATAS Governor, CCNMA Vice President, and MANA de San Diego Board Member, dedicating over 25 years to empowering women and amplifying underrepresented voices.
I’m honored to have received accolades such as the NATAS Emmys 25+ Years Award, the San Diego Union-Tribune Business Award, the NAWBO Women in Business Award, and the MANA de San Diego Women in Media Award, among others. As the creator and host of Historic Places with Elsa Sevilla, I’ve proudly produced 87 documentaries highlighting San Diego’s rich history for KPBS-TV. ​Hi, I’m Guillermo Sevilla. I co-created and co-produce Historic Places with Elsa Sevilla (aka San Diego's Historic Places). With a career as Director of Photography and Editor spanning 34 years, I’ve earned multiple accolades, including Emmy Awards, San Diego Press Club honors, and Society of Professional Journalists awards, for my contributions to local, national, and international productions. Serving as Director of Photography, Photojournalist, and Editor, I’ve traveled the world, capturing compelling stories for KGTV-10, KPBS-TV, and Sevilla Productions, LLC.
As a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, NATAS, and NPPA, I specialize in delivering impactful visual narratives across a broad spectrum of news and television stories.
